Defenders 2: Elusive Elixir is an all-new gamebook and the second installment in a series of high fantasy choose-your-path RPG adventure gamebooks by the Whitney Award-nominated author Derick William Dalton. The author has recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds and support for the art of this sequel, and he is welcoming generous community support and backing. The Defenders is a gamebook-style novel of 204 printed pages and 50,000 words, which is completely written and now needs crowdfunding support for the artwork.

“Defenders game novels have an introduction explaining the mechanics of character traits, skills, combat, use of gear, and character improvement,” said Derick William Dalton, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community. “The story continues from the first book, Throne of the Bandit Lord, boasts diverse paths in both plot and across the map, and continues in book three, Heiress of the Tundra.”
