Houston Massage Therapy Center Switches to Appointment Only Booking Due to COVID-19
Intelligent Beauty & Body and Sherry Nunez are pleased to announce that the Houston massage therapy center has made some changes to standard operating procedures in order to comply with the restrictions caused by COVID-19 protocols. The center uses online booking for the ease of clients and time constraints of the therapists. Appointment bookings can be made via text or email. Appointments are available Monday through Sunday, from 11 am to 9 pm. For questions about the services, customers can request a free phone consultation.
Several types of massage sessions are available. These include Couples Massage, Therapeutic Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Lymph Drainage and Pre-Natal Massage. Each treatment is designed for the specific client, needed therapy, or particularly tense areas. Quality products are used, which include Biotone Massage Creme, Body Therapy CBD, California Mango, Source Vital Apothecary Carrier Oils and DoTerra Essential Oils.
A top-shelf complimentary drink is provided to help with relaxation before the session begins. Clients can choose from water, soda, champagne, mimosa or a shot. For those clients who desire, add-ons can be included in the therapeutic session and for products to take home to use between sessions. Some of the add-ons include cupping, cold stones, extended sessions, and sugar foot scrubs.

According to Sherry Nunez, “Disinfectants, cleansers and hand soaps are part of our mandatory protocols for cleaning, disinfection and sanitation. These protocols are required before and after each client. For protection and safety, we will continue to follow our COVID protocols. Comphy blankets and linen are used on the massage tables for the comfort of our clients. A laundry disinfectant is used for the linens. We also use barrier protection between the fleece pad, table warmer and sheets.”
“We make use of Himalayan Salt Lamps,” she continued. “They are located at the entrance, under the table and the towel warmers in each suite. These lamps are designed to keep the inside air comfortable and filtered for the therapist and the client.”
